Policies.
One-on-one meetings
One-on-one meetings are scheduled for 50 minutes. No particular experience or outcome is promised.
Payment and sliding scale
The standard rate for a one-on-one meeting is $110, paid when the meeting is scheduled.
Two sliding-scale rates are available by request:
- Reduced rate — $75
- Low-income rate — $55
Sliding-scale meetings are scheduled through private booking links. You do not need to provide a detailed explanation of your financial circumstances. Please contact me if you need one of these options.
Cancellations and rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please use the link in your confirmation email or contact me as early as possible. Whenever possible, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
I understand that illness, emergencies and unexpected circumstances occur. Repeated missed meetings or late cancellations may affect the availability of future scheduling.
If you arrive late, we may need to end at the originally scheduled time.
Scope of the meetings
One-on-one meetings are not psychotherapy, counseling, medical treatment or mental-health care. I do not diagnose or treat medical or psychological conditions, and these meetings are not a substitute for care from an appropriately licensed professional.
Nothing offered in a meeting should be understood as medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
Crisis support
These meetings are not a crisis service and are not appropriate for emergencies.
If you are in immediate danger or believe you may harm yourself or someone else, contact emergency services. In the United States, call or text 988 for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or call 911 in an immediate emergency. If you are outside the United States, contact the emergency or crisis service available where you live.
Privacy and confidentiality
I treat what you share in a one-on-one meeting as private and do not intentionally disclose personally identifying information without your permission, except when disclosure is required by law.
These meetings do not create a therapist–client, physician–patient, attorney–client or other professionally privileged relationship. No method of online communication or digital storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Meetings are not recorded unless we have both explicitly agreed to recording beforehand.
Sunday practice group
Participants are asked to treat personal information shared by others with care and not repeat identifying details outside the group.
Recording, photographing or distributing any portion of a group meeting is not permitted without the explicit agreement of everyone involved.
Respectful participation is expected. Disruptive, threatening or harassing behavior may result in removal from a meeting or loss of future access to the group.
The practice group is not psychotherapy, group therapy or crisis support.
Website and contact information
When you contact me or schedule a meeting, I may receive information such as your name, email address, scheduling details and anything you choose to include in a message or booking form. This information is used to respond to you, arrange meetings, process payments and maintain necessary records.
Nothing Hidden LLC does not sell personal information.
Scheduling, videoconferencing, payment, email and website-hosting services may process information according to their own privacy policies. Links to outside websites and services are governed by the policies of those providers.
You may contact me to request correction or deletion of personal information I hold, subject to any information that must reasonably be retained for financial, legal or administrative purposes.
Changes to these policies
These policies may be updated as the meetings, website or methods of scheduling and payment change. The version posted here will be the current version.
